Singing God's Praises- one generation to another
The 2024 Family Pilgrimage explored Mary’s Song, The Magnificat. She is praising God who has chosen her to be the mother of His only son. Her words are powerful and hold lessons we can learn today.
The pilgrimage was a special time together for all the family, young and not so young, in fact all generations! We welcomed a wonderful mix of families from babies up to grandparents and everyone in between.

'Good, varied programme, wonderful choice of music, the craft afternoon and its activities were very well planned for the diverse range of ages. You positively encourage all children to join in, including them in the serving and the readings. The Maria Desolata was something I had never done, that was very powerful, doing something from a completely different perspective. Disco and magician, a definite hit with the children and adults on the last evening.'

'It was an excellently planned 4 days, the children were kept busy but didn’t feel at a pressured pace. All the children had the opportunity to participate in the services in whatever way they felt comfortable. Good choice of music. The crafts were very enjoyable and the lantern parade was a real success.
The children feel valued and I am truly blessed to spend this time in the company of my grandson and the other children and families. '
